Jumbo Eatery: Restaurant for Big Eater in Bandung - Traveling With Husband

Hello Foodies!
I want to share about Jumbo Eatery, a steak restaurant situated in the heart of Bandung city, close to Trans Studio Bandung, Asia Afrika Street, and Sudirman Street Food Alley. This restaurant is quite unique for me because it specialist in BIG PORTION FOOD.

I am not the type of person who likes to eat a lot every day, but at certain times, I want to eat a lot too. Especially when i have a great time with friends or family. That was why i ate early dinner at Jumbo Eatery with sisterhood i have.

Restaurant Ambiance
As you enter the place you are welcomed by a large parking area and an outdoor room with yellow color in the right side. Two Jumbo Eatery staffs will greet you at the main door and ask how big your group is. They will also ask your room preference: Smoking or non smoking room. 

The restaurant is spacious and can be used by more than 100 people. Sitting in any table, you will have enough space to move and have a comfortable meal and hangout time with your friends or family. We had 9 people and a baby in our group, so we chose a large table with wooden chairs in non smoking area. Our table also nears the main door and big windows that provide decent natural light and ventilation.

Menu and Pricelist
Jumbo Eatery offers a lot of meals, mostly meat based food: seafood, beef, and poultry. Although this restaurant is specialty in jumbo portion of food, it also offers normal size menu. So, do not be hesitate to come to Jumbo Eatery.

We only had 2 menu for our early dinner: Jumbo Steak and Seafood Platter.
Jumbo Steak consisted of 10 pcs Tenderloin 100 gram each, French fries, mix veggies and chosen sauce. 

Seafood Platter consisted of calamary, green mussels, fillet snapper and spagheti aglio olio.

We also ordered blackcurrant ice and lemon tea in pitcher only for 15K each. 

Eating Experince
We waited almost 30 minutes until all food we ordered arrives in our table. But instead of complain, we had a gift exchange party while waiting :D.

Tenderloin steak we had is a little hard to chew, maybe because we order it in well done degree. I'd recommend you to order steak in medium well or medium rare to enjoy it more.

with many kind of food in Seafood platter, i love spaghetti Aglio e Olio the most. I don't want to talk bad about food, but their seafood is not my favourite. I'd recommend you to order mix platter instead :D.

Despite the seafood part, i had a pleasant dining experience with Jumbo Eatery. We spent roughly IDR 400K (less than $40) for 9 people. I think it's quite affordable for most of us.
